Former Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara has heaped praises on Belgian-Congolese manager Vincent Kompany.
The former Manchester City star joined Bayern Munich last summer after ending his spell with Burnley following their relegation.
Despite suffering elimination from the Champions League competition, Bayern Munich remains on course to secure the Bundesliga title at the end of the season.
Reflecting on Bayern Munich performance under Kompany, Alcantara, who is now with Barcelona technical team said, “Bayern was the club where I had the best times in my career and also on a family level. I know Kompany’s work well. He has a clear plan for how he wants the team to play from the back, and he is very dynamic up front. He is a great coach and does a great job.”
The Bundesliga giants fell to Inter Milan in the semifinals of the Champions League campaign. With Bayern also missing out on the DFB Pokal, the German giants only hope remains the Bundesliga title.
