Former Angola captain Fabrice Alcibiades Maieco, known as Akwa is urging Egyptian international Mohammed Salah to renew his contract at Liverpool.
Salah’s current contract expires at the end of the season but he is yet to receive a contract extension offer from the English giants.
Despite lack of contract extension offer, the Angolan legend has called on Salah to commit to Liverpool.
“Mohamed Salah is always brilliant, no one can deny that, and I think Liverpool needs his services and so does he, as he is the most prominent star in the team and is relied upon basically, and he is also the main source of danger for the Reds.. From my point of view, Salah should renew his contract” he told Koora in an interview.
The 32-year-old winger has been outstanding since joining Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from AS Roma.
Salah has been Liverpool’s main man this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists in 12 appearances in the English Premier League.
