The 2013 edition of the UFOA (Union of West African Federations) Zone B football tournament will feature the participation of eight nations. Ghana, the host country, Togo (holder of the trophy), Benin, Burkina Faso, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Gabon have all been confirmed as participants. Gabon and Sierra Leone are invited teams as they are not part of UFOA Zone B.
The tournament aims to provide preparation for Gabon’s participation in the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in South Africa, scheduled for January.
The draw for the competition is set to take place on October 17, with the composition of the different pots and seeds already known.
