The Jaraaf of Dakar maintained their position as provisional leaders of the Senegalese Football League 1 after the 19th day of matches. They retained their lead despite not playing, as their closest rivals stumbled.
AS Pikine, who shared the same number of points as Jaraaf (33), suffered a defeat against Casa Sport de Ziguinchor with a score of 2-0. This loss allowed Jaraaf to remain at the top with 34 points. Ouakam Sports Union (USO) also failed to capitalize on Pikine’s loss, losing 1-0.
In other matches, Linguère salvaged a draw with a last-minute penalty to equalize against Suneor, while Yeggo secured a surprise victory over Touré Kunda. Despite their win, Yeggo remains at the bottom of the table.
In the Petite Côte derby, Stade de Mbour and Diambars de Saly played to a 1-1 draw, with goals from Sorry Keita and Fine Bopp, respectively.
