‘Football in England is different; everything moves a bit faster’ – Bilal El Khannouss
Moroccan youngster Bilal El Khannouss has reflected on his time in England with Leicester City.
According to the midfielder who signed for VfB Stuttgart on loan from Leicester City in the summer transfer window, playing in England is very different.
He believes that the intensity in England is much higher when compared to other leagues, explaining that in the English Premier League, everything moves a bit faster.
“Football in England is different; the intensity is higher, everything moves a bit faster. That’s the biggest difference between the two leagues. I’m still getting used to the Bundesliga, but I’ll be fine,” Bilal El Khannouss said.
At VfB Stuttgart, Bilal El Khannouss is hoping to impress during his loan spell. In the loan deal with Leicester City, VfB Stuttgart could sign the Moroccan talent for a fee of 25 million euros at the end of the 2025/26 football season.
Since his move to Stuttgart, El Khannouss has made two appearances in the German Bundesliga, scoring one goal for his side.
