The Cameroon Professional Football League (LFPC) is currently focusing on enhancing capabilities within its ranks. The organization overseeing professional football management has recently launched a comprehensive series of training and retraining programs. These sessions, spanning from January 8 to 23, 2013, are being conducted in Yaoundé and Garoua.

The training initiatives specifically target referees participating in the Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 championships, along with match commissioners, stadium coordinators, and referee inspectors. The initial phase is set in Yaoundé, bringing together participants from the southern region of the country. Subsequently, the second phase unfolds in Garoua, uniting trainees from the northern part of Cameroon in the capital of the Northern region.

This strategic move by the league aims to prepare its personnel for the upcoming elite football season, scheduled to kick off on January 18, 2013. The emphasis on training and retraining reflects the league’s commitment to maintaining high standards and ensuring the smooth operation of professional football in Cameroon.
