On the first day of the Cameroon national championship, there was a surprise as the reigning vice-champion suffered a defeat at home against Unisport du Haut-Nkam, losing 0-1 at the Reunification Stadium in Douala.
Despite playing with a numerical disadvantage following the expulsion of their attacker Nametchoua, Astres de Douala couldn’t hold off their opponents and conceded a goal from the penalty spot scored by William Tchouameni.
