Fofana secures a draw for Burnley against Fulham
During Matchday 23 of the Premier League, Burnley, the English football club, managed to secure a 2-2 draw against visitors Fulham on Saturday.
Fulham took the lead with two goals in just four minutes during the first half, courtesy of Joao Palhinha in the 17th minute and Rodrigo Muniz in the 21st minute, asserting their dominance in the game.
However, Burnley narrowed the gap in the second half, thanks to the Ivorian striker David Datro Fofana, who joined the team in January.
Fofana made an impact in the 71st minute with a swift counter-attack, capitalizing on a pass from Lorenzo Insigne.
Fofana’s second goal came in injury time at the 90th minute, a well-placed shot from inside the penalty area, securing a crucial point for his team.
However, Burnley remains in the penultimate position, trailing seven points behind the safety zone. Meanwhile, Fulham ascended to the 12th position with 26 points.
