France international of Senegalese descent Ferland Mendy has made a return to the Real Madrid squad ahead of the highly competitive clash against Barcelona.
Mendy, who has been out of action for sometime has fully recovered from injury and is expected to feature Real Madrid.
The two most glamourous clubs in Spain will lock horns in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday night, as both teams will be yearning for the ultimate.
Prior to the game, Real Madrid have been handed with a massive injury boost following the return of Mendy.
Mendy, who is the main left-back will likely return to the starting lineup after missing the last few matches due to injury.
It is also expected that Federico Valverde, a nominal central midfielder, will play on the right flank of the defense in this match instead of Lucas Vazquez.
Due to injuries this season, Mendy has played only 30 matches, contributing 2 assists.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid will be without Franco-Angolan midfielder Eduardo Camavinga following an injury setback against Getafe.
