Details have emerged regarding the new contract set to be signed by Barcelona’s rising star, Lamine Yamal.
The 17-year-old winger, of Moroccan and Equatorial Guinean descent, is poised to commit his future to the Catalan giants with a new deal running until 2031.
According to multiple reports, the agreement has been finalised.
Under the terms of the new contract, Yamal will earn a net annual salary of €8 million, with a yearly increment of €2 million until the contract’s expiration in the summer of 2031.
Although Yamal’s current deal runs until 2026, the club had been waiting for him to reach the legal age of 18 before registering the long-term extension.
Widely regarded as one of the brightest young talents in global football, Yamal has delivered an impressive season for Barcelona.
The dynamic attacker has made 55 appearances across all competitions, scoring 18 goals and providing 25 assists.
Barcelona’s decision to secure Yamal on a long-term contract signals their immense belief in his potential, especially amid growing interest from top European clubs.
The new deal solidifies Yamal’s role as a central figure in the club’s future.
