Renowned sports commentator Ahmed Shobier has disclosed that the financial demands put forth by player Amr El-Sulaya for renewing his contract with Al Ahly are still under consideration within the club’s football committee.
Speaking via On Time Sports, Shobier stated that El-Sulaya has requested an increase in his contract compared to the salaries and contracts of some other players, with Al Ahly proposing to raise the value by 750,000 Egyptian pounds.
“In the end, there is no doubt that Amr El-Sulaya will renew his contract with Al Ahly, and I rule out the idea of not renewing it or leaving the Red Castle,” he concluded.
El-Sulaya played a pivotal role in Al Ahly’s victory last Tuesday, securing a 5-0 win against Baladiyet El Mahalla in the Egyptian Premier League.
