FIFA RANKING: SWITZERLAND IN THE TOP 10, SPAIN STILL LEADER

As of the end of the 69 qualifying matches for the Brazil 2014 World Cup, FIFA released its rankings for the draw. Spain retained its leading position in the top 10, followed by Germany in second place, and Argentina in third. Switzerland entered the top 10 by gaining 7 places to occupy the 7th position. England also moved up by 7 places and secured the 10th position. France experienced a significant jump and is ranked 21st.

Among African countries, Ivory Coast is the highest-ranked, holding the 17th position with a gain of 2 places. Ghana is the second-highest African nation, ranked 23rd in the world.
