FIFA President Gianni Infantino extends warm wishes to Al Ahly ahead of 2025 Club World Cup

Gianni Infantino, the President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), has conveyed a message to Al Ahly ahead of their anticipated participation in the 2025 Club World Cup.

FIFA recently decided to expand the number of teams participating in the Club World Cup to 32, starting from the 2025 edition, scheduled to take place in the United States. The tournament will occur every four years.

Al Ahly secured their place among the four African clubs set to participate in the 2025 Mundial, having clinched the title of the 2023 CAF Champions League.

Gianni Infantino shared a video message on his Instagram account, stating, “Al Ahly will represent its proud and passionate fanbase in the 2025 Club World Cup in the United States. Congratulations.”

The message from the FIFA President reflects the global significance and anticipation surrounding Al Ahly’s involvement in the prestigious tournament.

As the reigning champions of the CAF Champions League, Al Ahly is set to showcase their prowess on the international stage, vying for supremacy against other continental champions.
