FIFA has officially announced a financial support of $10.4 million to the Egyptian Football Association.
The announcement came through FIFA’s “Forward” program, a crucial initiative aimed at advancing global football and outlining FIFA’s collaboration with our member associations in the success of the FIFA World Cup.
“Forward” stands out as one of the premier sports development programs globally.
According to the official statement, the Egyptian Football Federation received $10.4 million between 2016 and 2022 for the enhancement of its facilities and the establishment of a new football center in 6th of October City.
The breakdown of the funds allocated to the Egyptian Football Federation includes $5.45 million for operational expenses, $4.25 million for the project’s costs, $500,000 for travel expenses, and $200,000 for equipment.
This substantial financial backing underlines FIFA’s commitment to the development and improvement of football infrastructure globally, fostering growth and excellence within member associations.
