The Ivorian Football Federation and FIFA have signed a document related to the Goal 5 project. This project involves FIFA providing financial assistance to Côte d’Ivoire for the development of the National Technical Center of Soccer.
According to Mr. Kablan Sampon, the FIFA Goal project manager for Africa, the ultimate goal of this project is to create a pitch with synthetic turf at the National Technical Center of Soccer in Côte d’Ivoire.
Côte d’Ivoire has already benefited from four previous Goal projects. The first two were focused on the construction and extension of the Bingerville CTNF. The Goal 3 project contributed to providing the CTNF with a hotel featuring around thirty rooms. Goal 4 saw the construction of the headquarters for the Professional Football League in Treichville.
The Goal projects initiated by FIFA aim to support football development in member countries by providing financial assistance for the construction and improvement of football infrastructure, such as training centers and facilities. These initiatives contribute to the overall growth and enhancement of football in the respective nations.
