Fenerbahçe are set to shake up their squad this summer, with four high-profile departures on the cards.
Leading the list are Moroccan internationals Sofyan Amrabat and Youssef En-Nesyri, as the club targets at least €60 million in transfer revenue.
Amrabat, currently on loan from Fiorentina, is expected to have his €13 million buy clause activated before being sold on for €20 million—yielding a tidy €7 million profit for the Turkish giants.
En-Nesyri, meanwhile, is reportedly closing in on a €35 million move to Saudi Arabia. The transfer marks a dramatic turn in fortunes for the striker, who joined from Sevilla last summer amid high expectations.
Seen as the missing link in Fenerbahçe’s attack, the 27-year-old initially impressed, scoring 26 goals and providing seven assists in 47 appearances.
However, a prolonged goal drought followed his last strike on March 2 against Antalyaspor. Despite recent criticism—intensified after he was booed off during the derby loss to Beşiktaş—En-Nesyri responded emphatically.
He ended his dry spell with a crucial goal in Fenerbahçe’s 4-1 win over Başakşehir on Friday, his 17th league goal of the season. With four assists also to his name, he remains in contention for the league’s Golden Boot.
The goal came as part of a dominant second-half showing that saw Fenerbahçe reduce the gap to league leaders Galatasaray to five points, with just three games remaining.
Earlier this month, head coach José Mourinho had backed the striker: “En-Nesyri scored 26 goals without penalties. He struggled during Ramadan, which affected his form, but he’s now showing signs of returning to peak condition. He’ll be vital in the season’s final stretch.”
Veteran forward Edin Džeko and midfielder Sebastian Szymanski are also expected to be offloaded, with both likely to fetch around €5 million each. The impending exits signal a significant summer overhaul at the club.
