Fenerbahçe plot summer signing of Serhou Guirassy signing
Fenerbahçe S.K. are stepping up their pursuit of Serhou Guirassy, with reports suggesting the striker is now more open to a move away from Borussia Dortmund.
According to Bild, the Turkish giants had already shown interest in the January transfer window, but Guirassy was not fully convinced by the project at the time. However, his stance has reportedly shifted in recent months, making a potential transfer more realistic.
The report adds that discussions have already taken place between Guirassy’s representatives and Fenerbahçe, with negotiations now moving into a more concrete phase. The club is believed to be preparing a lucrative salary package in a bid to convince the forward to make the switch.
Unlike standard clauses, Guirassy’s release clause would not apply to Fenerbahçe, meaning any deal would require direct negotiations between the two clubs over a transfer fee.
While Fenerbahçe are pushing strongly, they are not alone in the race. Clubs from Saudi Pro League and England are also monitoring the situation closely as interest in the 28-year-old continues to grow.
With his future still open, Guirassy’s next move is shaping up to be one of the key transfer storylines ahead of the summer window.
