Fenerbahce eye move for Burnley’s Tunisia international Hannibal

Hannibal, the Tunisia international currently with Burnley, has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce. The proposed transfer would take the 23-year-old attacking midfielder from the Championship to Turkey’s Super Lig.

Hannibal has started all four of Burnley’s Championship matches this season, playing 241 minutes without scoring or registering an assist. He has also featured twice in the EFL Cup, while contributing two assists in three appearances for Tunisia at the 2026 World Cup.

The midfielder joined Burnley from Manchester United on 28 August 2024 in a deal worth €6.4m. He helped the club win promotion to the top flight during the 2024-25 season, before Burnley were relegated the following campaign.

Hannibal’s current market value is listed at €15m, while his Burnley contract runs until 30 June 2028. The length of that agreement means any move to Fenerbahce would require the Turkish club to negotiate a transfer with Burnley rather than wait for the player to become a free agent.
