Yacine Brahimi Completes €8.5 Million Move to FC Porto
Algerian midfielder Yacine Brahimi has officially joined FC Porto, signing a five-year contract in a deal worth €8.5 million. The transfer was confirmed by FC Porto on their official website, with Brahimi already training alongside his new teammates.
The 24-year-old, who had been with Granada since 2012, caught widespread attention during the 2014 World Cup while representing Algeria, notably scoring a goal against South Korea. Last season, Brahimi featured in 35 La Liga matches, scoring three goals, and earned the distinction of being La Liga’s best dribbler, finishing ahead of Lionel Messi in this statistical category.
At Porto, Brahimi will reunite with fellow Algerian and international teammate Nabil Ghilas, as the club looks to strengthen its midfield ahead of the upcoming season.
