FC Nordsjaelland have secured a significant payday with the sale of young Ivorian midfielder Mario Dorgeles to Portuguese side Braga in a deal worth €10.5 million.
The Danish club is set to benefit even further, as the agreement reportedly includes a 10 percent resale clause for any future transfer involving the 20-year-old talent.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the deal is all but finalized. “Mario Dorgeles is on his way to Braga from FC Nordsjælland, and an agreement should be in place,” Romano shared. The midfielder is expected to travel to Portugal on Wednesday for his medical before signing the contract.
Dorgeles joined Nordsjaelland in 2022 from Ghana’s Right to Dream Academy and has since developed into a key figure in their midfield, racking up 83 appearances for the first team.
“Mario Dorgeles has most likely played his last game for FC Nordsjælland,” Romano added. “In any case, he should be on his way.”
Braga are eager to finalise the move swiftly, with the player reportedly ready to begin the next chapter of his promising career.
