In a formal announcement on Friday, December 22, 2023, FC Nantes joyfully confirmed the contract extension of Nigerian winger Moses Simon, solidifying the 28-year-old’s commitment to the club until 2026.

Moses Simon, a notable figure in FC Nantes since his arrival from Levante Unión Deportiva in La Liga, Spain, in the summer of 2019, has opted to continue his football journey donned in the yellow and green colors of FC Nantes.

The winger’s extension marks a significant agreement, binding him to the Club des bords de l’Erdre for the next two years.

Throughout his tenure with Nantes, Moses Simon has made a substantial impact, featuring in 163 matches while contributing 29 goals and 31 assists in the distinctive yellow and green jersey.

In the first half of the current Ligue 1 season, Simon showcased his prowess by starting in all matches, delivering three goals and four assists.

Expressing his commitment to the team, Moses Simon asserted, “I am ready to continue fighting to help the team go as high as possible.

What is certain is that this contract extension is a real proof of confidence in the club, as well as in the team.”

The extension reflects both the player’s dedication to the club and FC Nantes’ acknowledgment of his instrumental role in their pursuit of success.

As the club looks ahead, the contract renewal serves as a testament to mutual confidence, underlining Moses Simon’s integral part in the future aspirations of FC Nantes.
