Issa Cissokho, the FC Nantes defender, has refuted rumors of a potential move to Olympique de Marseille in the upcoming summer transfer window. He dismissed the speculation, stating, “I don’t know who could have invented that. I have never had any news from Olympique de Marseille, any contacts, any meetings with this club. To me, it’s nothing more than a rumor going around.”
Cissokho emphasized his focus on finishing the current season strongly, especially considering FC Nantes’ inability to recruit new players due to a transfer ban. He stressed the importance of unity within the team to maintain their position in Ligue 1 and expressed his commitment to the club, its supporters, and the city.
In an interview with FootMercato, Cissokho stated, “We are banned from recruiting, so we know that we will experience a season together next year. We will stick together. The most important thing is to keep the club in Ligue 1, because the club, the supporters, the city deserve it.”
