FC Cologne has entered advanced negotiations with Bulgarian champions Ludogorets over the potential signing of Ivorian striker Yves Erick Bile in the upcoming summer transfer window.
A source close to Africafoot has revealed that the Bundesliga club is eager to secure the services of the 20-year-old forward.
Cologne’s Austrian coach, Gerhard Struber, has reportedly been impressed by scouting reports highlighting Bile’s talent and potential.
Cologne’s €3 million bid
According to the same source, FC Cologne has already tabled an official offer of €3 million for the young striker, whose current contract with Ludogorets runs until 2028.
The German club is keen to bolster its attacking options, and Bile’s impressive performances in Bulgaria have placed him high on their list of targets.
Breakthrough season at Ludogorets
Bile has been a standout performer for Ludogorets this season, playing a key role in the club’s title challenge.
The Ivorian has registered 13 goals and seven assists in 28 appearances, cementing his reputation as one of the league’s most promising forwards.
Ludogorets are preparing for their 26th Bulgarian Premier League match against Lokomotiv Plovdiv as the season progresses.
While Cologne pushes for his signature, the club will be keen to retain their star forward as they look to secure another domestic title.
Bile’s future remains uncertain, but with Cologne’s firm interest, a move to the Bundesliga could be on the horizon.
