FC Barcelona seems to be caught in a dark series of problems lately, adding to their already troubled Neymar affair. The latest issue involves the discovery of chocolates shaped like the FCB logo containing marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Spanish police have arrested nine individuals involved in the production of these chocolates, which were being sold in markets in Alicante and Valencia. In addition to the chocolates, the police found significant quantities of drugs such as speed and cocaine, as well as a substantial amount of cash, in one of the detainee’s apartments.
While FC Barcelona is not directly linked to this incident, it further tarnishes the club’s image, already destabilized by various controversies including the Neymar affair, disappointing results, and conflicts with FIFA over the recruitment of minors.
