In an upcoming episode of her program “Bil Khat Al-Areed,” host Iman Abu Talib welcomes Faruq Jafar, the legendary figure from Zamalek Club and former Egyptian national team member.

Jafar, renowned for his skills on the field, reveals a trove of secrets and behind-the-scenes anecdotes, shedding light on the African Cup of Nations and his personal life.

Airing on Al-Hayah channel this Friday, Jafar, for the first time, candidly discusses his private and family life.

The Zamalek icon opens up about his special friendship with the legendary Abdul Halim Hafez, expressing the underlying reasons for his displeasure with Farid al-Atrash.

During the episode, Faruq Jafar discloses the truth behind an incident where a captain insulted him and even slapped him with a pen.

This revelation promises to uncover a previously unknown aspect of the football legend’s life.

Touching upon his relationship with his son Saif Jafar, who currently plays for Pyramids FC, he poses a rhetorical question: “Can I have a son who gets engaged without my knowledge, or doesn’t invite me?”

The football veteran also shares his perspective on the potential sale of Ahmed Zizo, a prominent player from Zamalek, stating, “If Zamalek needs support and funds, they should sell Zizo.

Ten million would resolve the crisis at Zamalek.”

For the first time, Jafar addresses the past Zamalek elections where he ran for the position of president.

Responding to speculations about his loss being linked to him being the candidate of the previous council, Jafar provides insights into the circumstances surrounding the elections.

Jafar concludes by expressing his empathy for Zamalek players, asserting, “Players at Zamalek are unfairly treated, and no one should be upset.

My father, my older brother, and my younger siblings are all die-hard Ahly fans.”

“Bil Khat Al-Areed,” hosted by Iman Abu Talib, airs every Friday at 8 PM on Al-Hayah channel.

This exclusive interview with Faruq Jafar promises to unveil a multifaceted portrayal of the football legend, offering viewers a unique glimpse into his life beyond the pitch.
