Cameroonian striker Fabrice Olinga is facing administrative problems with his club, Malaga. Olinga, who hasn’t played for three months, is currently dealing with issues related to his official papers and compliance. While there are conflicting reports about his situation, Malaga explains that players from Fundesport, Samuel Eto’o’s foundation, often come to Europe on study visas and must renew their residence permits annually. Olinga received a long-stay visa during the period of a match against Cape Verde, but his professional status at Malaga is yet to be confirmed. The club currently has him registered as a reserve team player, and there are suggestions that the club is cautious about exposing him due to his age. Olinga gained attention when, at 16 years and 98 days, he became the youngest scorer in the history of the Spanish championship.
