Ezekiel Imoh, the Nigerian-born striker for Standard de Liège, made a notable impact during their match against Genk on the third day of the Belgian football championship. Imoh not only scored the first goal for his team in the 2-0 victory but also set a new record for the fastest goal in Jupiler Pro League. He achieved this feat by opening the scoring just 10 seconds and 40 hundredths into the match, surpassing the previous record held by Christian Negouai. Paul José Mpoku, of Congolese origin, added the second goal for Standard de Liège in the same game.
