The board of directors of Ismaily Club officially announced the termination of its relationship with Salah Gomaa, the team’s playmaker, on Monday morning.
Ismaily terminated its contract with Salah Gomaa by mutual consent, and the player left the Darawish ranks just hours before the winter transfer window closed.
According to reliable sources, Salah Gomaa has largely settled on his new team following his decision to leave Ismaily.
The Egyptian Football Association extended the winter registration period until next Tuesday, November 6, allowing Salah Gomaa to finalize his move to a new team before the end of the winter transfer window.
A close source to Salah Gomaa, the former player of Al Ahly and Ismaily, indicated that the player may join his brother Abdullah Gomaa and move to the ranks of Baladiya Al-Mahalla.
Salah Gomaa is weighing several offers to join one of them before the end of the winter transfers.
Although he received several offers from Egyptian Premier League clubs, it seems most likely that he will join Baladiya Al-Mahalla.
It is worth noting that Baladiya Al-Mahalla officially signed Abdullah Gomaa in a free transfer after the player terminated his contract with Zamalek.
