Ivory Coast international Nicolas Pepe has emerged as a transfer target for Premier League duo Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The former Arsenal star has rediscovered his form at Spanish club, Villarreal following brief spells at Nice and Trabzonspor. Pepe has racked up 7 goals in 23 appearances across competitions since his free transfer to the La Liga side last summer.
His outstanding performance has caught the attention of Everton and Wolves, who are keen to secure his services in the summer.
Pépé has been a key part of Villarreal’s push towards the UEFA Champions League places, especially in the last fortnight, registering three assists in his last two matches in La Liga. Villarreal, therefore, want to extend his contract, which is set to expire at the end of next season.
Despite Villarreal pushing to extend his stay, Premier League duo of Everton and Wolves are also said to chasing the former Arsenal winger.
The Ivory Coast international has also attracted interest from Saudi Arabia, who made an attempt to sign him last season before the Ivorian eventually opted to join Villarreal.
