Everton and Stade Rennes have joined the race for the signing of Morocco international Hamza Igamane in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old forward has attracted significant interest this summer following a standout performance for Scottish giants Rangers in the recently concluded campaign.
Igamane made 46 appearances across competitions for Rangers last term, scoring 16 goals and delivering three assists across the period.
His outstanding performance did not go unnoticed, with several clubs across Europe jostling for his signature this summer.
Besides Everton and Stade Rennes, other clubs, including Lille, Feyenoord are interested sign signing the highly rated attacker ahead of a potential move away from Glasgow.
Lille had previously agreed personal terms with the Rangers attacker, but a move has since stalled. With Tottenham target Arnaud Kalimeundo set to depart Rennes this summer, the club targeted the 22-year-old as a potential replacement for the Frenchman.
Everton are also considering a potential move for Igamane, having secured the services of Thierno Barry, the Premier League outfit could look to further bolster their attack with the signing of the Moroccan.
Despite their previous attempt to sign the Rangers striker stalling, Lille have not given up in their pursuit yet. No official offer has yet been sent, but the Ligue 1 club have not ruled out the signing of the forward.
