Moroccan midfielder Neil El Aynaoui has emerged as a top transfer target for a hosts of clubs in Europe in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old’s outstanding performance last term has caught the attention of several clubs, who are keen on securing his signature before the commencement of the new season.

The talented midfielder is currently on the radar of Serie A giants, AS Roma, AC Milan and Juventus, while Premier League clubs, Sunderland AFC, Leeds United, and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also said to be interested.

Roma, who are keen to snap up the enterprising Moroccan outfit have made the first move in what could turn into a multi-club race.

The Italian side have reportedly sent an opening offer to Lens valued at around €20m, which is of a higher value as compared to the €600,000 spent in acquiring the midfielder from Nancy in 2023. However, it is thought to be an offer that falls below Lens asking price.

Meanwhile, Lens are hopeful of keeping the midfielder for one more season in an attempt to fill the gaps left by the departures of several key players over the past 12 months.

The 24-year-old highly-rated midfielder current contract with Lens is expected to elapse in the summer of 2027.
