The French women’s football team continued their impressive run in the Euro tournament with a flawless performance against England, securing a 3-0 victory. This win marked their third consecutive victory in the group stage, ensuring a strong finish. The team, led by coach Bruno Bini, showcased their dominance on the field.

Eugenie Le Sommer opened the scoring in the 9th minute, taking advantage of a chance created by Elodie Thomis. Louisa Necib extended the lead in the 62nd minute with a powerful shot into the top corner of the net. Wendie Renard contributed to the festival with a superb header. The victory secured France’s place in the quarter-finals of the competition.

The team’s focus will now shift to the direct qualifying matches as they aim to continue their successful run in the tournament. Their next challenge will be against Denmark in the quarter-finals.
