Etoile Sportive du Sahel striker Firas Chaouat has been included in a Tunisia squad for the first time on four-years.
He is expected to join camp for the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Liberia and Malawi.
His outstanding performance caught the attention of Tunisia head coach, Sami Trabelsi earning him a significant call up back into the national team.
This season, the forward has racked up10 goals for his club Etoile Sportive du Sahel in the Tunisian First Division.
Firas Chaouat has played 12 international matches for the Carthage Eagles, scoring two goals. His last match with the national team came against Equatorial Guinea in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Carthage Eagles will travel to face Liberia on March 19 before hosting Malawi on March 24, 2025 in a highly competitive clash.
Tunisia has been impressive in the qualifiers and are currently on top of Group H, accumulating 10 points after four matches.
