The city of Nantes hosted the 6th edition of the table football world cup until January 8, 2012. Estelle Jacquot, a 36-year-old social worker from France, was one of the few women participating in the event. She emphasized that table football is a serious sport for enthusiasts, contrary to the perception that it’s a casual game played in bars. The competition featured 500 participants passionate about foosball.
