Former Egyptian international goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary has praised Moroccan international Yassine Bounou, the goalkeeper for Al-Hilal Saudi Club.
Speaking to the Saudi sports network “SSC,” El-Hadary said, “Bounou is my brother and my dear friend.
He congratulated me on the Syrian national team’s qualification for the Asian Cup.
We have a strong friendship, and we always stay in touch.”
El-Hadary added, “Bounou is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, not just in Africa.”
When asked about who is better between him and Yassine Bounou, El-Hadary jokingly responded, “I apologize to you, Bono, but El-Hadary is the best.”
