Essam El-Hadary, a legendary figure in Egyptian football, delivered a passionate message to Egypt’s U-17 national team as they gear up for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar from November 3 to 27.
Now serving as goalkeeper supervisor for the youth teams, El-Hadary visited the team’s training camp in 6th of October City, Cairo. He was joined by Alaa Nabil, technical director of the Egyptian FA, and Dr. Mustafa Azzam, the FA’s executive director.
El-Hadary told the Egyptian national team players that they have a golden opportunity to start their football careers in the best possible way by shining at the World Cup.
The former Egypt goalkeeper pointed out that this generation includes good players, but they must maintain their fighting spirit and perform at their best to achieve success in the FIFA U-17 World Cup and advance to Europe.
Coach Ahmed Al-Kass’s side will battle England, Venezuela, and Haiti in Group Five. Nabil urged the players to avoid complacency and stay focused to deliver the best possible results.
