Esperance consider move for Nigerian midfielder Aly Casmir Chinonso
Nigerian midfielder Aly Casmir Chinonso has been linked with a move from JS Omrane to Esperance, with both clubs competing in Tunisia’s Ligue 1.
Chinonso, 20, has started both of JS Omrane’s Ligue 1 matches this season and played the full 180 minutes, although he has yet to score or provide an assist. The defensive midfielder has also received one yellow card.
The player joined JS Omrane on 31 January 2025 and remains under contract with the club until 30 June 2027. His current market value is listed at €200,000.
A move to Esperance would keep Chinonso in Tunisia’s top flight, but the available details do not indicate that an agreement has been reached or that a transfer fee has been negotiated.
Born in Nkpor, Nigeria, Chinonso has represented JS Omrane since arriving at the club and has established himself in the starting line-up at the beginning of the 2026-27 campaign. He plays primarily as a defensive midfielder and is naturally right-footed.
Esperance’s reported interest comes as Chinonso begins his second full season with JS Omrane, where his current contract remains in place for almost another year.
