ES Tunis will begin their Club World Cup journey on 14 June, as the Tunisian giants prepare to represent Africa in the inaugural expanded edition of the tournament, running through to 13 July in the United States.
Drawn into Group D, the Tunisian club faces a challenging schedule, set to compete against continental champions Flamengo (Brazil), Club León (Mexico), and Chelsea (England) in what promises to be a demanding group stage.
As one of only three African teams among the 32 participants, ES Tunis carry the hopes of a continent, and head into the tournament with a fully assembled squad of 32 players, including three goalkeepers, in line with FIFA’s tournament regulations.
The club officially announced its travelling party earlier this week, with the team already training in the United States in preparation for the opening fixture.
