Ermis Aradippou have strengthened their attack with Belgian-Moroccan winger Badr Oulad Abdellah, who has joined the Cypriot club from Gibraltar side Lynx FC on a free transfer.
The 23-year-old right winger has signed a contract with Ermis running until 31 May 2027. He completed the move on 31 August 2026 and will continue his career in Cyprus’ 2. Division after leaving the Gibraltar Football League.
Oulad Abdellah arrives following a spell with Lynx, whom he joined in January 2026 as a free agent. He made five league appearances for the Gibraltar club and recorded two assists, while also featuring in the Championship Group.
The move represents another change of country for Oulad Abdellah, who was born in Antwerpen and holds Belgian and Moroccan nationality. He began his development in Belgium, spending time with Berchem’s youth set-up and Zulte Waregem’s academy before progressing to Zulte U18.
He moved into under-21 football with KV Mechelen in 2020 and later joined AJ Fano, also on a free transfer, in August 2021. A spell with RWDM U21 followed, initially on loan from Lierse Kemp U21 during the 2022-23 season, before he returned to Lierse’s youth side.
After leaving the Belgian development system, Oulad Abdellah spent periods without a club before moving abroad. He joined Dubai City FC in September 2024 and then transferred to Spanish side CP Villarrobledo on a free transfer in March 2025. He subsequently became a free agent before linking up with Lynx.
The winger is listed at 1.77m and prefers his right foot. His arrival gives Ermis a player with experience across several football environments, including Belgium, the United Arab Emirates, Spain and Gibraltar, as he begins a new chapter in Cyprus.
Oulad Abdellah’s contract with Ermis Aradippou runs through May 2027, completing his free transfer from Lynx FC.
