MC Oran head coach Éric Chelle has laid out a pragmatic roadmap for his team as they prepare to host US Biskra in a crucial Ligue 1 encounter on Sunday.
Speaking during a training session on Friday, Chelle emphasized the importance of ending a frustrating three-match winless streak.
“The idea is to stay around 4th and 5th place, and if one day we can be ambitious, we will be, but now, on Sunday, it would be good to take the three points,” said Chelle.
Appointed on October 9, the former Mali Eagles coach has seen his side deliver a balanced start under his stewardship, with three wins, three draws, and three losses in nine matches. Currently sitting 5th with 15 points, MC Oran remains in striking distance of their goals for the season.
