African stars Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush will play in the UEFA Champions League in the 2025/26 football season.
The 2024/25 Premier League season came to a close on Sunday, May 25, when all participating clubs played their respective final matches.
While Mohamed Salah inspired Liverpool to finish first to clinch the league title, Omar Marmoush also helped Manchester City to finish third.
At the end of Sunday’s fixtures, the list of English clubs set to play in European competitions next season was confirmed.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Newcastle United will all compete in the UEFA Champions League.
Aston Villa, who narrowly missed out on a Champions League spot despite a strong season, will play in the Europa League after finishing sixth with 66 points.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest clinched seventh place and will represent England in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
