Enzo Ebosse is being linked with a move from Udinese to Serie A rivals Torino, with the potential transfer currently rated at a probability of 77% according to figures in Italy.
The 26-year-old centre-back, who holds both Cameroonian and French nationality, is the subject of growing speculation despite being on the books of Hellas Verona on loan from Udinese. Transfer data lists the move as a rumour rather than an agreed deal, but Torino are understood to be exploring a defensive reinforcement and Ebosse has emerged as a comparatively low-cost option, with his current market value standing at €1.50m.
Any switch would require Udinese’s agreement, as the Friulani remain his parent club and are due to receive him back at the scheduled end of his loan at Verona. The absence of publicly listed contract expiry information adds an element of uncertainty to his long-term future, leaving open the possibility that he could move into free-agent territory later in his career if no extension is agreed.
Born in Amiens on 11 March 1999 and standing at 1.85m, Ebosse has built a reputation as a left-footed central defender, a profile that remains relatively scarce in top-level European football. Having progressed through the youth ranks at Amiens and Lens, he moved to Le Mans before breaking into Ligue 1 with Angers, then making the jump to Serie A with Udinese in 2022. Loan spells at Jagiellonia Bialystok in Poland’s top flight and now Hellas Verona have added further experience across different leagues and styles.
With his market value having fallen from earlier peaks at Udinese, a successful move to Torino could offer Ebosse the platform to re-establish himself in Serie A and reshape the trajectory of his career if the rumoured transfer ultimately comes to fruition.
