Enppi SC bring in Egypt midfielder Mohamed Essam from Dayrout SC

Egyptian attacking midfielder Mohamed Essam has joined Enppi SC from Dayrout SC, strengthening the Premier League club’s options in midfield.

The 21-year-old completed the move on 15 August 2026 after leaving Dayrout, where he had been playing before switching to Enppi. Essam operates primarily behind the forward line and is right-footed.

The transfer takes Essam into Egypt’s Premier League with Enppi, marking the latest step in a career that has included spells with Dayrout and Cleopatra FC. He first moved from Cleopatra to Dayrout on loan on 1 August 2023.

That loan spell ended on 30 June 2024, when Essam returned to Cleopatra. He then rejoined Dayrout on 1 September 2024, remaining there until his move to Enppi at the start of the 2026-27 season.

Essam was born in Egypt on 1 April 2005 and has represented Egyptian clubs throughout his senior career. His move to Enppi represents his first recorded change of club since returning to Dayrout in 2024.

Enppi’s new midfielder has played in a range of domestic competitions during his career, including the Egypt Cup, Premier League and Egyptian League Cup. His arrival gives the club another player capable of operating in the attacking midfield position.

The move also brings Essam into a new stage of his career at a club competing in Egypt’s top flight. Enppi are the latest club to secure his services after his two periods with Dayrout, separated by his return to Cleopatra.

His club history has therefore included an initial loan move to Dayrout, a return to Cleopatra, a subsequent switch back to Dayrout and now a move to Enppi.

Essam has joined Enppi SC from Dayrout SC and is now part of the Egyptian Premier League club’s squad.
