Mohamed Ismail, the director of football at Enppi Club, has confirmed that the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has not contacted their club regarding the postponement of their match against Al-Ahly again, and that the fixture is still scheduled for March 15.
During a phone interview on Al-Nahar TV channel, Ismail stated, “We prefer to play the match as scheduled due to our training program commitments and the need to minimize matches.”
He added, “There was an offer from Russia’s FC Sochi to loan Mohamed Hamdy, the team’s left-back, but the offer was rejected due to financial demands that were not accepted by the Russian club.”
“The initial conditions included a specific participation percentage for the player to ensure his marketing and resale value.
We wanted him to participate in at least 40% of the remaining matches until the end of the season,” Ismail explained.
In conclusion, he addressed rumors about Ziyad Kamal’s health, stating, “Ziyad Kamal has not suffered from any chronic injuries as some have claimed, and his injury rate is normal like any other player.
Zamalek has acquired a good player and will benefit from him.”
