English-Nigerian winger Eberechi Eze scores to earn a point for Crystal Palace in draw against Nottingham Forest

England forward of Nigerian descent, Eberechi Eze, was on target for Crystal Palace on Monday night, helping his team avoid a defeat against Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League.

The forward started for the Eagles in the Round 35 clash played at Selhurst Park and lasted the entire duration of the match.

On the matchday, both teams played well in the first half, but neither side could find the back of the net before the halftime break.

In the second half, Crystal Palace broke the deadlock of the game in the 59th minute after the team was awarded a penalty kick.

Eberechi Eze stepped up from 12 yards and succeeded in beating Matz Sels to give the Eagles the lead.

Nottingham Forest replied just five minutes later after going behind. Neco Williams scored to restore parity to the match.

This season, Eberechi Eze has been in impressive form for Crystal Palace in the English Premier League.

He has scored five goals and provided eight assists after making 31 appearances in the English Premier League.
