England youngster of Nigerian descent, Carney Chukwuemeka, is currently facing an uncertain future and will only decide his next club at the end of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The midfielder is with the Borussia Dortmund team that has progressed to the Round 16 stage of the Club World Cup in the United States of America (USA).
Although Borussia Dortmund are reportedly in talks with Chelsea to extend Carney Chukwuemeka’s loan deal to cover the entire FIFA Club World Cup period, it is unclear if a deal will be reached.
For Chelsea, checks have revealed that the Blues are looking for a solution for the midfielder as he is not part of the plans of manager Enzo Maresca next season.
In the last 24 hours, it has come to light that West Ham United are interested in signing the 21-year-old.
The Hammers are reportedly planning formal talks with Chelsea in the coming days in hopes of agreeing on a deal to sign the midfielder.
Dortmund, on the other hand, will decide on the permanent signing of Carney Chukwuemeka at the end of July.
