Former Al Ahly star, Amr El Hadidy, has emphasized that Mohamed Abdel-Monem, the defender for the Red Devils, deserves a contract adjustment with the club.
Speaking on the program “Kalam fi Al Kora,” El Hadidy stated: “Al Ahly’s management should revise Mohamed Abdel-Monem’s contract and place him in the top tier to ensure his focus remains with the Red Castle.”
El Hadidy further revealed: “An English marketing company has initiated discussions with Mohamed Salah regarding Mohamed Abdel-Monem, alongside interest from Bayern Munich.”
Mohamed Abdel-Monem has showcased remarkable performances for Al Ahly in recent years, capturing the attention of several European clubs.
The player received an offer from Qatar SC during the last winter transfer window, yet the discrepancy over the financial terms prevented the deal from materializing.
Al Ahly is set to face Baladiyat Al Mahalla tonight at 7:00 PM local time at Cairo Stadium, marking the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
