England striker of Nigerian descent, Tammy Abraham, will make a return from injury to feature in AC Milan’s clash against Bologna in the Italian Serie A on Friday, May 9.
The former Chelsea striker was absent when the Milan-based club fought to beat Genoa 2-1 in the Serie A last weekend.
The forward missed the game due to a thigh injury he sustained during AC Milan’s win against Venezia.
In the last few days, Tammy Abraham has made progress in the treatment room and is now feeling better.
Although he is not out of the woods yet, the medical team of AC Milan are expecting him to make a full recovery before the next game against Bologna on Friday.
He will be named in the team’s matchday squad for the game.
However, whether he will start the game or be on the bench is yet to be decided.
This season, Abraham, who is on loan from AS Roma, has scored three goals and provided four assists after making 28 appearances in the Italian Serie A.
