Hull City secured their place in the FA Cup final next month after defeating Sheffield United 5-3 on Sunday. Despite falling behind early to a goal from Baxter in the 19th minute, Hull City managed to equalize through Ivorian striker Yannick Sagbo. However, Sheffield United regained the lead before halftime with a goal from Scougall.
In the second half, Hull City staged a remarkable comeback, with goals from Fryatt, Huddlestone, and Quinn propelling them ahead. Meyer added a fifth goal late in the game to secure the victory for Hull City. Although Murphy scored a late consolation goal for Sheffield United, it wasn’t enough to prevent Hull City from reaching the final.
Hull City will now face Arsenal in the FA Cup final on May 17 at Wembley Stadium.
