Gerrard Scanlon, an English supporter of Millwall, has been banned from football stadiums for five years and fined £500 for racist insults directed at Senegalese footballer El Hadj Diouf. The incident occurred during a match between Millwall and Leeds in November, where Scanlon was caught on camera miming shouts and directing insults at Diouf. In response, Millwall imposed a lifetime ban on Scanlon attending their matches.
